Really exceeded our expectations! We loved everything about our stay here - the environment, facilities, aesthetics, services and more. The vegetarian breakfast was amazing too. Would definitely recommend and return for the next time!

Breakfast was just ok. Eggs were offered on 2 mornings but not the third which was disappointing. Brad seemed a day too old

Good vegetarian (only) breakfast. Great Location. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Free drink of port with tonic and lemon was a lovely surprise.

Very comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff especially the female staff. Good breakfast, Chef made lovely omelette or pancakes if requested. Lovely freshly squeezed orange juice. Boiled eggs cooked to your liking. We stayed in second week in November. Lovely sunshine and warm on 2/3 days. Rained one day all day but we were in doors at the food market and shopping centre. Plenty of things to see and do there. Variety of restaurants, all very well priced. Lovely risotto in a restaurant on the corner down from the hotel called Ris8tto. Muu a lovely steak house. All restaurants very reasonably priced, much better value than Lisbon. Down by the river is beautiful to see all the little boats carrying the barrels of port. Over the bridge Gaia is lovely too. One piece of advice if travelling in November bring a light rain coat and an umbrella.

This was the highlight of our stay. The room was small but lovely with a great view of the garden from our terrace. The staff was superb, so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal. There’s a wonderful garden to relax in, a sitting area on each floor. We couldn’t ask for a more comfortable and gracious experience. We will be back.

It was a great experience to stay in this place of calm and comfort. Booked very last minute as our plane from Porto cancelled late at night with nowhere to stay they welcomed us and made us feel relaxed the moment we arrived.

Location was perfect, far enough away from the busy city centre but still convenient. Our room was perfect with private access to the gorgeous garden. Staff couldn't be more helpful with advice of where to visit in and around Porto. Sara in particular was delightful - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the most delicious omelettes in the morning! The restaurant food was amazing, we ate there twice in the evening. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto.
