We were happy with Invictus - good staff - room was as expected, location was what we needed. Unfortunately, due to an expected issue we had to be moved to another hotel so a full on review is not possible.

Check-in was OK as I arrived past office hours. There was a housekeeper to hand me the room and the locker keys. The kitchen was open 24/7.

Great location in the old city, close to many restaurants and sights. The facilities for a hostel was as expected, clean and secure.

I can't say anything less than GREAT about this hostel. We mainly chose it because of its location as it is bang in the middle of things and you can walk anywhere in Porto from it. We weren't disappointed as there are great places around it and it was so easy to check in and get settled. When my partner got food poisoning and was unwell, they were the kindest people ever! Especially Guillhermo, he called us an ambulance and stayed with us until they arrived. The next day the woman at the reception (sorry we can't recall her name) she kindly spruced up our room and gave us clean linen and towels. We would recommend them for sure!!

- very big room, you don’t feel claustrophobic and have enough space for manipulation despite having 12 beds - port wine as a welcome drink - friendly staff
