The location is decent. It is a walking distance from the center, in the residental area with auchan and minipreço nearby. There is a huge public parking nearby.

The room was very clean and well-maintained. The staff did housekeeping daily and replenished all items in the bathroom (soap, shower gel, toilet paper, etc.) during the process. The provided breakfast options were delicious and varied, we had no issues finding foods we liked. Everything was clearly fresh and was purchased/prepared the same morning. The hotel's location is very convenient and not far from the points of interest, especially when travelling via subway/tram. Staff members seem to be fluent in multiple languages, but it depends on the person (for example, there was one staff member who had no trouble communicating with us in English, but others we've spoken to struggled to understand us). A lot of the hotel's equipment feels rustic and is clearly well-loved (which we were partial to, it was very refreshing to see equipment that is being fixed and not just thrown away/replaced!). Overall, we found Borsalino to be very charming, with many quaint qualities - we'd definitely stay there again for the same price!

Hotel Borsalino was clean and comfortable and ideally located for an overnight stay between flying into Porto airport and visiting FC Porto stadium with 2 football mad young boys. Also close to Campanha station and easy to then catch the train for our stay in the Coimbra region.
