Excellent location and very spacious room by European standards, although I think we had the best room available. 2nd floor, corner unit, with balcony plus two windows.

Great location. Fatima and Jessica gave me a lovely warm welcome and Fatima advised on somewhere nice to eat. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was really good and the fresh orange juice was delicious. I would recommend.

Amazing find ! Our room was spacious, enormous bed, and lots of windows to enjoy the weather. The team at the Dukes Corner Guest House was fantastic. Especially Jessica (?) who was making freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast for us.

Beautiful old building with suiting renovations and a large and lovely room. The staff was exceptional in their communications and support - they did their best to help us and accommodate our requests. We are only sad that we missed out on the breakfast - the salon was set up beautifully.

At first I want to give 10 points to the ladies who are working there. They make a lovely and sunny team doing the athmosphere so wonderful. The breakfast was good, especially coffee and fresh orange juice. The bed was comfortable and big but the bathroom middle of the room looked a bit crazy and it took too much space from the room. Perhaps there wasn't any other way to build it? Nearby are many good restaurants and nearest metro station is in 5 minutes walk.

The house has charm and everything is spotlessly clean. The warmth and commitment of Fatima is particularly worth mentioning. She is the perfect host, is always in a good mood and has an open ear for questions. Downtown with its sights can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes. There are very good and reasonably priced restaurants off the main tourist routes. With the exception of the ‘tripe’, we tried all the classics of regional cuisine, thumbs up. On Fatima's recommendation, we visited authentic restaurants in the neighbourhood of the ‘Dukes’ with a small number of tourists and were not disappointed. She also gave very good tips for sightseeing and excursions in the Porto area. If you have enough time, you should definitely take a trip to the Douro Valley, possibly to Braga, of course taste some port wines and (my personal highlight) take a guided Segway tour through Porto. We enjoyed our stay at the 'Dukes' very much. All highly recommended, we would love to come back.
