Apartment Overview

Located in the historical centre of Porto, Babel offers 6 apartments and a bar in the ground floor. Clérigos Tower and São Bento Transport Hub are a 2 minutes’ walk away.
Babel offers a unique atmosphere, product of the cooperation with artists and galleries. Its stylish décor is present in each accommodation. Guests can choose between a studio and an apartment with 2 bedrooms. Free WiFi is available in all areas.
Guests are able to prepare their own meals since each accommodation includes a kitchen or a kitchenette with all modern appliances necessary. Every morning guests can enjoy a reinvigorating breakfast and those wishing to taste Porto’s gastronomy will find plenty of restaurants within 200 metres.
Babel is just 700 metres from the Douro River and the Ribeira area where guests will find the most varied cafés, bars and restaurants. Luís I Bridge is 1 km away and allows guests to cross the river by foot and visit the Port Wine Cellars. Avenida dos Aliados, the very centre of Porto, is just 190 metres away and Porto International Airport is a 16-minute drive.

I loved my stay at Babel. Accommodation is in an excellent location, beautiful large accommodation with all necessary amenities- including small bar fridge. Very safe and hosts were responsive to emails and there is a contact number for emergencies. Check in instructions very easy to follow. Fantastic value for money

I'd stayed here a couple of times before, when it was known as Miss Opo. A lot of what I liked about Miss Opo remains, obviously it hasn't moved and the location is great. It's super clean and self-check-in is very easy, as is all communication, via WhatsApp. The rooms offer a great size, more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The food in the restaurant downstairs was great.

The decoration is beautiful. The bed is big and very comfortable. The view from the small balcony is nice, and the wooden doors help keep the sun (and outside noises) out while sleeping. It is a small street between bigger ones that have more foot traffic, so it is mostly quiet.

Perfect location! You can walk everywhere from there! Our room was AMAZING. So much better than the pictures. Practical, gorgeous decoration/design and great lighting. Small balcony with beautiful view of the street. Smelled so good in the room, and so clean.
