a cozy little retreat, with a direct and wonderful full view of the Douro from Don Luis bridge down to the Arrábida bridge - even a good view from the bed; nice breakfast. A quite quiet place and still at a spot where you can start easy to anything you like to do.

The location was better than excellent, on the river and close to restaurants and bars without it being noisy and feeling overly busy. The staff were amazing. Very helpful with whatever we needed.

The room we had on night 1 overlooking the River was awesome. So nice to sit and watch the activities outside during the day or night. We opened the balcony doors at night, had a glass of wine, and people watched while boats cruised by on the river and the lights from Gaia shone. It was great! Staff (Armando and Rafael) were excellent and took good care of us. Armando got us into our room early when we arrived early, and Rafael ensured we were looked after when there was a maintenance issue on day 2 of our stay. Breakfast was very good. Lots of options for a small hotel. Also the help yourself to beer on tap was a great touch!

The staff is very attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to be accommodating. The view from our room was spectacular. The breakfast was very satisfying... above and beyond.

Perfect location on the river front with beautiful views across to the Port Houses. Clean, comfortable, well appointed with delicious buffet breakfast. Everywhere walkable and tram to Foz across the road. Recommend river view room. Great restaurants close by.

The location was great, very central but equally as quiet. Only 8 rooms and very homely. Boiling hot water at all times. Great breakfast. Staff were helpful and rarely seen. Bright room (standard city view) The most comfy bed ever...would recommend.. Great aircon
