The location right on the beach was great. Short drive to town or even walk.

No breakfast was included the location was ok, a car is required to visit the town, or about a 40 minute comfortable walk

The beach was perfect for long-distance swimming and very quiet, that was exactly what I was looking for. There was only one restaurant within a walking distance and no supermarkets, but the host was so kind as to take me to Porto Heli to do shopping in her car. She also took me to the port the day I left for my next destination.

We had a perfect, relaxed holiday at Malindi Rooms, an idyllic place right on the beach in Ververoda, 5km away from the nearest town (Porto Heli). The views are breathtaking. The accommodation was basic but comfortable and kept very clean, eg our sheets and towels were changed every other day. We were able to make our own breakfast & lunch in the little kitchen area and there was a taverna at the end of the beach, about 5 minutes' walk away, which served delicious Greek food at a very reasonable price. The local supermarket in Porto Heli will deliver quickly but in the end we decided to hire a car, which was arranged very easily and quickly for us by Denise, which made food shopping a little easier and enabled us to travel around the area and try some of the restaurants in Porto Heli. This is an ideal place for those seeking peace and quiet and a beachside holiday. The beach is great for swimming; it is a bit stony/pebbly but sandy once you are in the water. We flew to Athens (from London Gatwick) and then had a taxi (about 2 hrs 15 mins) to take us to Malindi Rooms. The taxi was quite expensive, simply because of the distance. Amazing views on the journey. We were sad to come home and would love to visit Malindi Rooms again. Thanks to Denise, our host, for whom nothing was too much trouble.
