Such an exceptional property and staff. The property is more like a spar than just a hotel. The place is so relaxing and interesting architecturally but also with tasteful bits and pieces everywhere you look. Set in mature quiet grounds which were great for walking our dog and getting away from motorway 'mode' before travelling onwards. The manageress, 'Patricia' (I think her name is) is very professional and a great host. Breakfast is oooh so good - I honestly did not want to leave.

A very quiet and beautiful location. We loved the wooden bungalow and felt very warm and comfortable. Decorated with thought and character and had a fantastic shower. The kettle in the room was a bonus as us English like our cups of tea in the morning. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice of homemade or local produce. The host was friendly and helpful. A very enjoyable stay.

Lovely location, space, opportunity to enjoy this spectacular area of Portugal The facilities are great: loved the honesty bar where you can choose your own bottle of wine and combine it with a delivery of dinner from a partner restaurant Patricia is really friendly and helpful too We stayed in a bungalow, which was spacious and very comfortable Lovely walks in a beautifully kept estate
