Breakfast was amazing. Home made breads and poached fruits are outstanding! I had the porridge which was creamy and rich. My partner had the full Irish with all locally sourced ingredients including eggs from very happy hens. A candlelit breakfast start to the day was a lovely special touch. Gerry and Dinah are splendid hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their grandson, who helped, was a delight. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely stay again.

Always a warm welcome from Gerry and Dina, good scrumptious, rooms warm and welcoming, and the entire property emaculate. A fabulous trip every time, And if you’re fortunate enough tough to be in Portlaois. I couldn’t recommend this property enough 💯👌⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
