Hotel Overview

The 4-star hotel is situated at an altitude of 700 meters in the traditional settlement of Portaria, offering stunning views of Mount Pelion and Makrinitsa. It offers an outdoor swimming pool.
The rooms and suites, all with independent entrance through the gardens dispose luxury and space. All units are fully equipped with minibar, CD player and satellite TV.

I recently stayed at the Pillion Resort, and my experience was a mix of positives and a few areas that could use improvement. The resort is situated in a decent location, which provides easy access to local attractions. The grounds are well-maintained, and the natural surroundings are quite pleasant. The rooms were adequate in size and fairly clean, though they could benefit from some updates to make them feel more modern and comfortable. The bed was reasonably comfortable, and the basic amenities were provided, but there was nothing particularly outstanding. The service was generally polite, but it lacked the warmth and attentiveness that makes a stay memorable. While the staff were helpful when approached, there were a few occasions where more proactive service would have been appreciated. Overall, Pillion Resort offers a satisfactory experience for those looking for a basic place to stay. It’s not a bad choice if you’re just looking for somewhere to rest while exploring the area, but there are a few aspects that could be improved to enhance the overall guest experience.

Very nice hotel with all the facilities you need, especially private parking (which few hotels have). Spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms, terraces with a beautiful panorama towards Volos (spectacular sunset). I received a free room upgrade and I really appreciated it. Friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the hotel for a pleasant stay.
