My favorite hotel in Port Louis. The views from the rooms are spectacular. It was cleaned daily. Location is central and walking distance to the port and markets. The staff are amazing and helpful especially the manager

Stayed in 1903, great view over the waterfront/city area. WIFI was fast & stable for the most part, other reviews were critical of the nearby food options, we found there to be plenty (What google's for!) though some of the smaller places only took cash. So you need to plan to spend cash, especially if you arrive on a Sunday as we did! Evening options are limited to say the least. Good take away Pizza one block down the hill (Cash only) but doesn't open till 5pm, Main bed room was en-suite, other 2 bedrooms share 2nd bathroom off Kitchenette/sitting room. Used the water front metro a couple of times, gets crowded though but as you start from the fist stop, you always get a seat on the outward journey, takes cash/card tickets from platform machine before getting on, 55 rupees for a one way ticket to Curepipe central (end of line)around 50mins. Would recommend Phoenix Mall (on Metro line) as for a visit about 25 min trip, various Large brand stores, cinema Carefores you step off the metro into the mall care park! 10-20 min walk to the waterfront & Metro Plenty of food options, 2 cinemas & shops!
