Arrived during a massive storm- power off through whole of North Island. Staff anticipated issues and mitigated. Water remained hot and we hunkered down and went through the week fine.

The cabin had every thing that we needed (except real cream for tea/coffee), it was very clean, it was cute and reasonably priced. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The cabins were nice and clean. Staff was super helpful. The little unit was perfect. Considering it was by a highway, it was quiet.

Very cozy and comfortable- just stayed for a quick 1 night and everything was clean and fresh. We were able to do a load of laundry as it’s adjacent to an RV park with coin laundry (change available at office during office hours)

We arrived after dark and left before sunrise, so didn't even see the property really, just the cabin, which was very simple but beautifully built, very clean, with a good bed and shower. The log construction is very charming.

Really comfortable cabin. The facilities in it were just enough. The trails nearby are walkable from the place. There is a wildlife viewing platform close by with views over the estuary. The staff were so friendly and helpful.
