Booked the Oaks as advertised as having EV charging. 2 chargers on site but appears neither have worked for 6 months. The receptionist advised there were chargers at Sheridan but these are only available to guests of the Sheridan. Made for a challenging trip. Room was clean but dated and oddly smelled like stale smoke, though the bed was comfy enough. Would have stayed at any number of alternate accommodation if I had known the EV chargers were long dead. They did provide 2 drinks vouchers in apology for the hotel bar but this was closed by the time I got back from charging elsewhere.

Been to Oaks before. The day we arrived it was teeming with rain. The receptionist was very helpful and found us a room adjacent to a carpark. My partner was soaked to the skin unpacking the car. The unit was great and the beds really comfortable. Will return to the Oaks next time in Port Douglas.

Resort facilities are great, pool, swim up bar and all the seating for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. The bar and restaurant for dinner had a nice laid-back vibe. Staff were helpful and cheerful. Rooms were spacious enough and clean, with nice products provided.

Bed was a great size and super comfortable, shower was large and also really nice, the room in general was great for the price we paid. Parking on site, beautiful resort and staff were lovely.

Beds are very very soft and uncomfortable. Both woke with sore necks. The facility is very outdated. Carpet for the room had visible water damage and so did the bathroom. Paint peeling off the pool bar walls and surrounds. They did replace the cracked shower head very promptly so well done. Staff were great but the facility itself is let down by its age. The valentines menu was very overpriced considering we has to share one plate each course between two people.

The place was stunning, exceeded my expectations even. The staff were all incredibly lovely and helpful. The pool is open until 10 pm, which was a huge plus. The buffet breakfast was fresh and delicious each day and the kitchen staff were always friendly.
