Hotel Overview

The Pierhouse Hotel sits on the shores of Loch Linnhe in the village of Port Appin. With an informal, relaxed atmosphere, the hotel has 12 contemporary styled bedrooms, spectacular sea views, a bar with a welcoming wood-burning fire and choice of 90 whiskies.
Inside The Pierhouse Hotel, each room features a TV, an iPod dock and a seating area. There is also an electric kettle. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries. Extras include a DVD player and satellite channels.
With views over the loch, the hotel's award winning seafood restaurant serves freshly prepared, locally-sourced seafood and game. The restaurant offers a la carte dining at lunch and at dinner, including a children's menu and an extensive wine list.
Oban Airport is less than 15 miles from the property and Dunstaffnage Castle is 18 miles away.

We now have 2 seperate and different Superior Double rooms, one with a shower above the bath- corresponds to Room 8, one with a walk in shower- corresponds to Room 2. Same price for both. So one should be almost as above( Superior Sea View Double Room ) and the other should be named Superior Double Room with walk in shower.

Breakfast choice although limited was excellent. Quality ingredients and well cooked. View over sea to Lismore Island while enjoying breakfast was beautiful.
