This place is perched on a hill overlooking the harbour. It's a bit of a climb but keeps one fit. Although my room didn't overlook the harbour there is a balcony on each level that does. The room and everywhere else was very clean and neat with a fridge, cooker etc and a small separate shower/toilet. Thee is plenty of hanging and storage space. The bed was very comfortable and the room was so full of light it was almost like the lights had been left on. My host, Antonis, is a very pleasant man, helping and advising and fixing the door handle :) I loved the sight and sounds of the ferries to-ing and fro-ing and although it is towards the end of the season, all the facilities, restaurants, supermarkets, boat trips and car hire were readily available. The ferry to Kylini takes about 90 minutes and was cheap for a foot passenger. There are also boat trips to Ithaka and Zakynthos from the harbour.

Antonios as host was great, very polite, helpful and available at any time. Cleaning lady was coming every day, and clean up the room. View from the balcony was great. Location was very good, because port is 1 minute far.

The location is stunning. The host. Nice. The bed was broken, the air con just OK. Facilities were basic. No facility for changing before leaving....not even a toilet. Lovely place, however a bit more attention to detail required. Bottle of water in room on late arrival! Tea and coffee? More soap, etc. Lovely place, just missing the finer touches. Not exactly value for money compared with other local properties. Could so easily be improved with attention to detail.

Faro del Porto was clean and comfortable. Antonis was an excellent host, very hospitable and made our stay very good.

The host really nice, helpful and friendly. A good size of the apartment and well equipped. Great location close to shops, restaurants, local beach and port. An amazing view over the port of Poros and the sea. In general this is a great location for holiday.
