For the full experience, make sure you go for breakfast! Then you feel like you’re staying in the abbey, walking past the cloisters. Plenty of parking outside. Great restaurant over the bridge (Pierre Bonaventure) was recommended by helpful staff.

Easy to walk into the main parts of town. Very large room, good bathroom. Separate toilet. Plenty of heating - which we needed as we’d got really wet during the day. View over inner courtyard - we could see where the motorbike was parked. Coffee machine in corridor -as well as tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Set in the renovated abbey which was destroyed during World War Two, the room was comfortable and had all you needed and had a little kitchen too. You get to look around the Abbey and the gardens for free. Lots of interesting information about the rebuilding post war

Our second visit here, lovely abbey hotel, really nice helpful staff. Rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. Breakfast is very good value. Short walk to town square with good restaurants and bars. Can highly recommend Au Balcon restaurant in the square. Super hotel and we can’t wait to come back.
