What it is not? To start with, it is not a typical hotel. And it you are looking for some jazzy/fancy type rooms, it might not be of your choice. What is it? 1. It’s an old traditional house with two or three stories with 8 to 10 rooms which are converted into facilities for guests. 2. If you want a cost effective accommodation in a good location with good, simple breakfast, this is a good choice. 3. Hot water is available 24 hours as it is on solar. 4. If you are coming by your vehicle, you might need to park it on the road/street outside the hotel. We were lucky as we got it right outside the hotel. 5. Mr. Raja is a great host and he is always around to help you. 6. The rock beach which is open 24 hours is at a walkable distance (about 10 minutes). 7. Breakfast is included in the package. It was a simple but it a good one. They have two options: (a) South Indian - which includes 2 idly with sambar, coconut chutney, 1 poori with potato curry, 1 plate Pongal (Upma), tea/coffee. (b) Continental - which includes bread omelets and fruits. There was no limit in the quantity and the quality was also great. Overall it’s a great option to consider if you want a cost effective stay in a good location.

Very near to all the tourist places and can be covered on foot. Very nearby to rock beach. Property is very clean and the staff is very accommodative.

The place was centrally located and beach was also easily accessible by foot. The hotel staff helped us rent a bike. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean.

The hotel was a lovely heritage stay. The room was very well maintained and clean. The staff were polite friendly and helpful. Value for money.
