The balcony with a table and chairs - you can chill in the evening. Nice and very clean room. Good breakfast for the price- croissants, coffe, fruits. Shared living room with TV and refrigerator. Only about 1 km to Pompei ruins, less than 10 min walk to the main train station.

First of all, the house is SUPER clean. Luigi, the host, and/or his family members comes by himself to clean everyday. The bathroom was very clean and spotless. The bed and pillows were very comfortable the sheets were changed during our stay. The location of the property is very close to the Shrine of Our Lady of Pompeii, which is why we visited Pompeii in the first place. Within a few minutes of walking distance to the center of the city. It is also just next to the train station which is convenient to hop on to Naples or Salerno or wherever. The surroundings are mostly quiet although sometimes it can be noisy when there’s traffic on the road or a lot of people in the train station nearby. But the center of Pompeii is generally like this. Luigi was a superb host. Going above and beyond to help us and feel at home. Communicating with us through the phone translator was no problem at all. Gave us some suggestions on where to eat and even gave me a treasured precious souvenir. His family members were also very friendly to us! Hope to be back!
