The location is superb, overlooking Polzeath Bay; the staff are second to none: nothing was too much trouble, nothing flustered them; the restaurant is excellent (again, amazing staff); the bed linen was the finest quality; the apartment was squeaky clean, and there was a wonderful, generous welcome hamper awaiting us.

Easy check in, arrived early but wasn't a problem. Comfy bed. Kitchen had everything needed for our stay. All staff we interacted with were excellent. Great views over the bay. Nice little stroll down to the beach and various clifftop walks

The location, the view, the facilities which covered every requirement from a family stay to a surfer stay, the friendliness of the staff, the proximity to the nice restaurant at the Oystercatcher, good towels, well equipped kitchen. The ability to park next to the Cottage and load and unload through the patio doors which was all especially valuable for our elderly Mum. It was quiet but we were out of season and wonder if the parking and quietness would be so good in high season - but we are willing to try!
