Our room was newly done up in the last six months. It was extremely comfortable. The establishment is in a quiet and peaceful area and includes a lovely swimming pool. The manager was very responsive and immediately rectified a small issue with our room fridge, for which we were very grateful. It was very reasonably priced and perfect for a one night stay. We were given a choice of continental or traditional breakfast, which was beautifully served.

Excellent service. Young people working there were very fast to act and helpful. Always tried to comfort is, despite tje parties going on. The location of the stay was far enough, so the parties never became a disturbance.

We tried the BLT and Wildescape salad paired with a delightful cocktail, and it was nothing short of amazing. Breakfast was equally impressive—whether you opt for the authentic Sri Lankan spread or the continental option, it’s guaranteed to satisfy every palate. Wildescape Guesthouse is truly a haven for relaxation and culinary excellence. We can’t wait to return!

Great staff. Could not have done more to make our stay satisfactory and they are working very hard to develop a good reputation. Great pool. Out of town but cycles were arranged for us so access was easy.

The location was so much better than we anticipated. The premises is literally behind the fence of the Polonnaruwa park area. It was extremely convenient and very relaxing as it was still in the jungle. The pool was a bonus to optimise relaxation. The staff goes above and beyond in hospitality and kindness. We really enjoyed our three day stay. A very tranquil environment
