It appeared to be two brothers running the hotel (taking turns on reception), both really lovely and friendly. Happy to help with anything. Breakfast was included which we didn’t realise when booking, so a nice surprise. Simple but left set up for the day. Bed super comfy, very clean. Good value for money.

Friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in Clover room - comfortable, nice big bathroom, had everything I needed. Great kindling bags also sold by one of the staff!

Lovely traditional BnB in a great location. Very kind, attentive staff who made all (adults, young children and a big dog!) feel very welcome. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice and freshly prepared.

I like the down to earth olde worlde charm of the place and feel welcomed there by the staff. It's close to Eastbourne and many tourist places. And its also a quiet retreat in itself. Good breakfast.

Staying at The Chalk Farm Hotel, is a very good experience, quiet location, not to be missed, will definitely stay there again. All the staff are very caring and approachable, I was very well looked after for the duration of my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. Tea making facilities in the room excellent. Plenty of off road parking. Breakfast was outstanding, plenty of choice. Fully recommend the grilled breakfast. A very pleasant, enjoyable stay.
