While voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens, it is on the edge of most of the wineries in Pokolbin. Disappointingly upon arrival, we had to wait over 10 minutes before someone arrived at reception. The room itself was very tastefully decorated and presented and clean, although, in the bathroom, greater attention could be given to base of the shower. The bed was comfortable. We made use of the onsite lounge for dinner and would highly recommend the offered breakfast.

Room and outlook were great. Bar and snacks comfortable and good food. The grounds and rose beds. Bonus turtle in the pond outside our room

Everything was exceptional except we couldn’t order food when we arrived back to hotel at 9.15 from watching a concert which I thought was a bit disappointing as we were paying almost $700 for one night

My experience at this hotel was absolutely wonderful—I truly loved it! I stayed to celebrate both my birthday and wedding anniversary, and I was pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful gestures from the hotel, including a personalized card, a small gift, a lovely souvenir, and a bottle of wine. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more special. Every aspect of my stay was excellent, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Australia. The buffet was outstanding, offering a great selection of hot dishes. I highly recommend this hotel!

The bedroom was lovely. Very clean. Decor is stylish. Receptionist staff welcoming. The buildings are in need of some repair eg decks need revarnishing and the grass definitely needed a mow. We did enjoy it but found it quite expensive.

The indoor pool was relaxing and open late. We loved that the bar was also open late and we could take our drinks back to the room.
