The room was big and had a lot of space for belongings. The breakfast was also very good and parking was easy to find next to the property.

Nice recently refurbished house with an old style touch. Strategic location for visiting the area. Parking place for free available outside the house and usually not full.

I stayed there for two nights to take part in swim race across lake Orta so I only needed a place to sleep at a reasonable price and 1928 Guest House ticked all the boxes. Vanessa and her family (hotel owners) did everything to make my stay carefree like driving me to the race start and then back to the guest house at the end of the day. The place itself is a small village with a nice church nearby and a beautiful view on lake Orta but if you travel with family and need to have some entertainment next to the hotel you probably will want to look for a bit closer location to the lake. There is also a small family owned pizzeria near the Guest house and the pizza was fantastic there
