We had a really great time at Le Maquis Plage. The family-run accommodation is beautifully laid out, very, very green, a fantastic pool, next to the beach and a delicious restaurant. The owners are super friendly, always helpful, Philippe, the owner even drove us to the nearest train station as there are few taxis, absolutely friendly. I absolutely recommend the accommodation.

- modern, functional and well equipped bungalow - AC in the bungalow has a heating function (it was useful when nights got cold) - convenient and safe parking - very close to the beach - heated swimming pool - not far from Bastia, Corte, St Florent (up to 1 hour drive to reach all of these towns) - 2 minutes drive to a Spar supermarket (open 7 days a week until 21:00) and a very good bakery! - very helpful, responsive and friendly hosts! All in all, despite not so good weather, we were very happy with our stay and can recommend to everyone

except neighbour village with party every evening (but could not hear it inside) it was a perfectly quiet and nice place. houses are standing a bit from each other with a lot of green and trees inbetween. nice neighbours, which you dont hear. pool is really good, closing time at 18.30 is a bit early - but understandable as the restaurant is exactly beside. houses are not with enormous space, but ok, nearly everything you need is there. huge fridge with cold water function, 2 toilets. we really enjoyed the stay there.
