Alice “Friendly and rustic off the beaten path pension with ground floor rooms for those that need it”

It was kind of them to find us a ground floor room, with wet room shower, since my partner has reduced mobility and so can't climb stairs or over the side of a bath tub. They also let us back the car down the road to pick him up at the door, load and unload the car. There is a small carpark round the back of the property; useful to us as we were on a road trip. The room was very clean with good water pressure in the shower. Nice breakfast. Dinner was very basic, local rustic food as is typical of off-the-beaten path, Spain; they struggled a little to serve my partner who is vegetarian but they tried to cater for him as best they could. Friendly old folk running the place. The place is clearly most designed for walkers on the Camino de Santiago, so you see lots of those each night! Perfectly located to try out walking sections of the Camino and the Canal de Castille is nearby and beautiful.

This was an enchanting place to stay. Fantastic food, beautiful location and the staff were all amazing. We will be returning again and again.

It’s a small family run hotel. The hotel is along the Camino Frances route. The room is decent size with en-suite shower, with clean fresh sheets. Although it may not look much externally, it has a beautiful internal garden. The dining area look into the garden. There’s a outdoor bar with seatings for one to relax and have some personal space outdoor. The pilgrim meal was delicious and warmly prepared.

3 course meal for dinner. Very simple but tasty and very cheap. Highly recommended. Hostess was super friendly and helpful. The small town is very cute. Check out the next in the bell-tower of the church.
