My feelings are a bit inconsistent... Some aspects of GRYF are top level (11 out of 10), but some are not so great.... The pools are absolutely fantastic (all three of them). Our room was fine, spacious, and airy....somehow it was never too hot in the room, despite the high temperatures outside. Catering is pretty good...I was little afraid first, but pleasantly surprised at the end. Awesome choice of salads, plus other vegetables ( both fresh & pickled). The smorgasbord style buffet has always been very varied, and they almost never ran out of anything. Proximity to the sea shore is super close, also there are plenty of stores and cafés. So all that had been great....actually, almost perfect. But there are three little flies in the ointment: - car parking is shamefully over-priced, not just in my opinion but of almost all other guests I talked to. - some staff's behavior was pretty disgraceful...SOME. Not all. The dining room attendants were actually super nice. - if you need to do some work online during your stay, then SKIP Gryf. Not sure about other hotel's buildings, but Wi-Fi was a complete joke where we were staying, and unfortunately, no mobile data was available, either, from any of the local providers. But, OK...I agree that most of people don't travel to resorts like this because of wi-fi, so I've decided picking "8" out of 10. Overall, a great place which could be turned into a PERFECT one by improving a few details.
