Nina “Fantastic - perfect spot for a visit to Plitvice Lakes”

Nena’s property was absolutely perfect for our visit to Plitvice Lakes. The accommodation is basic but has everything you need. It is 800m from the P3 entrance, so you can walk to the park in about 15 minutes. Nena’s hospitality was outstanding, and her cooking was amazing - we had breakfast before heading into the park which kept us full until dinner, which was a beautiful chicken dish.

Perfect location. Only 15 mins walk to the entrance. Surroundings of the property is so beautiful with a stream running. Food was excellent. I thought it was over rated when I read the reviews, but I was so wrong. Order the trout.... yummy 😋 Nena and her family are really nice, they do go out of their way to ensure a happy stay. Before arriving ask if they can offer you the pick up. Do not get a taxi. It was a rip off. 300 kn :( the son's owner only charged us 10 euro.

Nena is just an amazing person who knows how to take care of her guests. Advise her before you arrive and ask her to prepare fish diner for you, just wow. P3 point of the Plitviche Jezera parc is very close, 800 meters. Very recommanded B&B.

Great location with a cool place to sit outside between the water streams. Dinner was delicious. Windows had good nets against mosquitoes. Very close and a nice walk with beautiful views to the Plitvice park entrance 3.

We had a very relaxing short break with Nena, who is lovely and so happy to help with anything you need. She explained clearly in advance that we should buy National Park entrance tickets online, which we could use at entrance P3 near her house, since they don't sell tickets at the kiosk there. (Tickets will say P1/P2 on them, but that doesn't matter, because they are valid at P3). We took the bus to Pletvice Lakes from Zadar, which was delayed by over an hour, but we rang Nena, as prearranged and she picked us up from the P1 bus stop for EUR10, which is much cheaper than any of the taxis. Even though it was quite late (about 20:30pm), Nena cooked us a delicious fish dinner, as prearranged for EUR18 each. We had a filling breakfast for EUR10 each, then had a short walk through the woods on the other side of the road to P3 entrance. The views of the lakes below were stunning; the colour of the water is so vibrant. There was a half-hour queue for the electric boat, which is included in the entrance price. It takes you to P2, where you start the walk round the waterfalls. We had a wonderful day at the lakes and walked back to P3, rather than taking the Panoramic Bus, which is also included in the ticket price. Just make sure that when you get back to P3 you extend your walk to the big waterfall below Nena's house. Not many people seem to walk this route, but it is stunning and especially pretty in the early evening light. To round off a perfect day, Nena had cooked pork chops with a mushroom sauce and handcut chips, as prearranged (she also offered chicken or other meat if you prefer). It was lovely to experience a glimpse of local life, which makes a refreshing change from an impersonal large hotel. We were also glad to be able to contribute more directly to the local economy this way. Nena ran us back to P1 in the morning for EUR10, ready to catch our bus to Zageb. Thank you Nena!

Very nice hostess. Dinner at the hotel was very good, a traditional Croatian meal, freshly made. Better food quality then restaurant, and a lot cheaper
