We thought there were only front rooms as per the photos on booking.com. We received a back room with no balcony / stoep / open area leading to garden etc as per the other rooms. This was not explained over the phone.

Superb location right on the beach. Fabulous apartment with 2 rooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen, terraces and stunning ocean views. Complimentary drinks and snacks, friendly staff and fabulous service.

We have booked the family room, but got an upgrade to the rooftop suite. It was sooo fantastic!!! All the people who work there so lovely, the breakfast was delighious and everything was amazing! Such a great stay! Thanks a lot!

The staff was absolutely wonderful - really helpful and very very welcoming! The location is really nice, a few steps away from the beach. Breakfast was also really good!

Amazing small boutique hotel in Plettenberg Bay. Honestly, if I could give a rating of 20/10 I would! I have been fortunate to stay in a few boutique hotels over the years and this one rates right up there among the best…. The rooms are beautifully furnished in a clean modern style, with eclectic design touches. Fresh flowers, decent coffee maker etc in rooms. We were very privileged to receive a room upgrade which we appreciated very much (but even if we hadn’t, it would not change my rating or review!). Food is great, everything freshly prepared from scratch. Meals taken on the semi open deck, while watching whales in the bay opposite. Secure parking, cozy seating areas in the communal areas, outdoor fire pit, small plunge pool. Last but not least, the staff are outstanding - super attentive and helpful but never obtrusive, nothing is too much trouble and the team are what makes this hotel really special.

We made a booking an hour before we checked-in to The Bungalow and we were met with delicious welcome drinks, a friendly staff member took our bags to the room and we pre-ordered breakfast packages for our early check-out the next morning. The location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and the amenities luxurious but the friendly staff is the best asset for the property.
