I liked the clean renovated rooms with coffee maker. Comfortable clean beds. Great location with a view of the mountains. Loved the green courtyard area and the onsite restaurant. Friendly staff. No pet extras so I give it a 5 as it was absolutely worth the money I paid! wifi in every unit was helpful without telephone service coverage!!!

Excellent location if you are into hiking the park's trails; pleasant and cozy that the motel is not right on the road as some others; the view from the porch was delightful; the room is spacious and very clean--we brought our food and ate in the room and it was comfortable and fun; the shower was a bit finicky to adjust and there should have been a sign that the water was scalding hot, but when we figured it out the shower was fantastic; wifi was fast and worked great. Friendly staff was a great bonus. The young man's cheerful attitude made our day. This is our 5th year making a short trip to the Cabot Trail in the fall and each time we stayed in a different hotel / motel. This is the first one we would want to return to--cheaper than previous stays, excellent location, friendly staff, comfortable and clean room. This trip was just perfect.

No meal with booking but property restaurant up front is open from 7am til about 8:30. Owner also took time to inform us of the resto hours in case we arrived after 9pm. We did Skyline hike for sunset and place was quite near (20-30 mins away, we drove after light hours). Internet was not so fast but considering there is usually no reception on the trail it's better than nothing.

The hotel is quite good. The room was clean, it had everything you needed, bed, towels, shower soap, TV, cups. We had 1 bed. The rooms are not new, but in good condition. There is a restaurant at the hotel, open from 7am to 9pm. The food is not bad, the prices are average, not low.

The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed sitting outside with our own area. The staff were lovely and very helpful, getting a kettle for our room with teabags etc. We had a very nice homely dinner with live music.
