We absolutely loved our stay at Agora at Playa Maderas. Victoria was an incredible host and was so helpful in giving us advice about how to spend our time there. The location is remote, but we're so glad that we stayed there and not in the hustle and bustle of San Juan del Sur. The house we stayed in exceeded our expectations and was beautifully designed, super comfortable and just a great place to hang out in, cook in and feel the breeze come through. The beach is stunning too and it's just a short 8-minute walk away down the creek trail (assume this is only open in dry season). We loved Playa Maderas and absolutely recommend this as an awesome option for somewhere quiet and beautiful.

I stayed in quite a few places in Nicaragua and this was definitely the best. I really enjoyed the location, remote and very relaxing. Victoria is very helpful, lovely and sparkling host. Wish I could’ve stayed for longer. Will give my highest score 9 😀

The host is amazing and helped us a lot. Their project as a whole is very interesting aswel. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk and has very good waves for surfing.
