Beautiful room and hotel is like a haven on a busy street, we even had a room on the street and weren’t affected by the noise. Would have been nice to have water and coffee in the room.

Gorgeous oasis in the middle of the busiest street in playa del carmen - I stayed in another hotel in playa after this one and had a bit of a shock. Posada mariposa was so much better in almost every way - the room was quiet despite the hotel being so central, the bed was comfortable, air conditioning perfect temperature and the continental breakfast at a nearby restaurant was simple (fresh fruit, granola, toast, coffee and OJ) but absolutely delicious. The reception staff were all kind, welcoming and helpful. Bathroom facilities were basic but I think standard for the region so no complaints! If you want to be close to the action and the beach but still want to get a good nights sleep - thoroughly recommend!

Very good location and hotel cool and spotless. Staff were helpful. Shower was excellent. Small breakfast included. I could not find a way to turn the fan (noise) down on the AC unit and even when switched off it still made loads of noise. I do not like the fact they insist on checking your room before you leave either.

Location was amazing (very close to where our friend's wedding was happening, and right on 5th Ave where all the shops and restaurants are). The atmosphere of the hotel was very authentic and unique. Huge king bed!

Loved everything about this hotel. Perfect hotel location on main and very alive street. Nicely decorated. Our suite was quiet, very spacious and clean, with a beautiful patio that has a jacuzzi. Little fridge in the room is useful. I only wish the wifi and the water pressure in the shower is a little bit better, but I would definitely recommend this suite and this hotel.

Excellent location on Fifth Avenue and close to ADO coach station, beach and ferries all within walking distance. Right in the heart of everything which was quite amazing. Breakfast included in a very pleasant restaurant few doors away which included the basics but anything extra at a cost. Room had a big bed with small fridge and coffee maker. A nice vibe to hotel with plenty of greenery. On checkout the staff member-Sau Cruz think think his name- was very helpful and said we could come back anytime for any help with tours or taxis as we were staying for a few more days in the area. Overall, thought it was very good value for the money which included breakfast.

Perfect location. The Wi-Fi in the room was functional. Reasonable price. Close to the beach. Most staff were friendly. Cleaning was good. An iron was available. Breakfast was minimal but still good. The shower was well-designed. Creative design of the hotel. The cable carried so many channels, and the TV was good.
