The only reason I give 2 instead of 1 is the only bright spot of whole resort was Rodrigo the animator and Daniel the cook at Japanese restaurant. Both of them are very professional and nice guys and they deserve much better place to work at. And the show is very nice with a good dancers.

First time staying in an all inclusive resort in Mexico and it really did exceed my expectations. The activities and resources available for this adults only resort were fantastic. The drinks available were great and we appreciated the additional bottles of spirits provided in the room (although we did not use them). The food was very good and enjoyed the selection at the buffet and the restaurants were very good too - particularly liked the fact that the number of visits were not limited to the number of nights stay and there were always snacks available. Loved that there were different spaces on the property - 'party' pool where most day time activities were held, a quieter pool and bar and the chilled beach area. Even though our room overlooked the big pool, the soundproofing in the room was excellent. We visited the neighbouring resort to see what it was like but quickly headed back to Yucatan Princess. Service was really very good and all of the staff paid attention to detail and were very friendly and efficient. The entertainment available all of the time was really excellent - the entertainment staff were brilliant and all of the shows and parties were awesome and they were always full of energy and enthusiasm - a highlight of our stay. Special thanks and mention to Karen at reception, Maria at the 'quiet' bar, and the whole entertainment crew. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfy and particularly enjoyed the layout of the bathroom with two basins and separate toilet and the large shower. Even though the beach at the resort is very narrow there are plenty of beach chairs and good swimming beach at the neighbouring sister resort (that you also have access to) and can walk for miles both directions (stunning beaches).
