The food was great at the buffet and also at the specialty restaurants. I never had to wait for a table and reservation was not required. The staff was friendly and I never had to wait long for a drink. The hotel was clean and the food was above my expectations. Entertainment was good, Almendra, in particular, was always smiling and very engaging, she knows how to multitask and she does it well. My room was quiet as I asked for it I could only hear the birds singing from my room.

Wonderful stay, the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel is kept absolutely spotless, grounds maintained beautifully - we have never stayed at an all-in resort before and this stay surpassed our expectations. Location and facilities are great, activities and entertainment were great.

We recently enjoyed a stay at Princess Yucatan in Playa del Carmen and had a wonderful time overall. The room size was impressive, providing us with plenty of space to relax. The beautifully maintained territory and easy access to the beach were highlights of our trip. We also thoroughly enjoyed the performances, shows, and live bands throughout our stay, which added a vibrant atmosphere to the resort. A special shoutout to Israel from the staff, who made our experience even more memorable with his humor and friendly demeanor. He even made us laugh by remembering my surname, which was a delightful personal touch. The overall service from the staff was outstanding—everyone was incredibly friendly and polite. We did have a few minor critiques. While the food was decent, we felt it could have been better, as some meals didn’t quite meet our expectations. We also weren’t aware of the dress code for the restaurants and regretted not bringing trousers instead of just denim shorts. This is something future guests should keep in mind. On a lighter note, we loved the local wildlife, particularly the friendly lizards and the adorable Mexican raccoons! It added a unique charm to our stay. The rooms were a bit outdated, but they were comfortable and well-kept. We particularly appreciated being placed in a quiet block of the resort, which allowed us to relax peacefully. Overall, we had a nice time at Princess Yucatan and would recommend it for anyone looking for a friendly and enjoyable vacation in Playa del Carmen!

The food was amazing, the pool bar is a must! The room was as showed in the photos and the property in general is amazing, the beach was peaceful.

The staff were accommodating and attentive. The all inclusive package provided great food and drinks. The resort was luxurious and having no children there added to this.

- variety of food services (6 restaurants are included, lots of bars, food available between the main meal timing) - food was delicious - great entertainment activities (shows, karaoke, dances, pool activities etc) Really a lot - comfortable beds - beautiful area - nice beach - lots of pools - shuttle buses to Playa del Carmen (the hotel is 20 min away from the downtown)
