Our stay at Petit Lafitte in a beachfront bungalow was a wonderful and unforgettable experience. The view from our bungalow was absolutely stunning—waking up to the sound of the waves and the breathtaking sight of the ocean was a highlight of our trip. The beach was perfect for long, peaceful walks, and the tranquil atmosphere made it an ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. The food was consistently delicious, with fresh and flavorful options that never disappointed. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The facilities were well-maintained and met the expectations of a quality 4-star hotel. Came across the hotel by accident en route somewhere else but a very beautiful location, great breakfast, friendly staff and I would love to have stayed and done some yoga!

We stayed in a gorgeous beach bungalow set in a quiet garden with a coati family scampering around. We loved the food, the musicians on taco night, the morning yoga, the beachfront bar and relaxing round the pool. The staff were really great helping us find a fun snorkelling trip out to the reef.

Food was amazing, wide choice and strong Mexican influences. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms were idyllic. As someone else said, a hidden gem amongst bigger hotels. Perfect.

This hotel is a charming little 35 room gem, set directly on the beach in the midst of several mammoth "tour group specialty" hotels. The room rate includes both breakfast and three-course dinner (with two options)....both were excellent. Strongly recommend that you book a bungalow; they are delightful individual cottages set amongst palm trees and hammocks in the sand (see photo); the rooms are in a three-story structure on one side of the plot and are quite bland and basic.
