Hostel Overview

This accommodation is a 5-minute walk from the beach. This hostel is a 10-minute walk from the beach. In addition, Alme Hostel offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and is located 5 minutes walk from Playa del Carmen's main square and 200 meters from a bus stop.
The private rooms have new and modern furniture, air conditioning and a private bathroom with toiletries and hot water only in winter season. The Alme Hostel has a shared kitchen and a common lounge with a TV.
The famous Fifth Avenue, located 400 meters from the hostel, has many restaurants, shops and nightclubs.
Alme Hostel is 1 km from Mamita's Beach Club and a 40-minute drive from Tulum Archaeological Site and Cancun International Airport. The ADO bus station is 500 meters away. Xcaret Ecological Park is a 15-minute drive away.

I appreciate the fact that it’s NOT a party hostel, so no crazy loud music, no drunk people, no noice or dirt everywhere. If you want to party choose different place - there’s plenty of hostels to choose from in Playa del Carmen to get wasted and crazy... so if you stay in Alme, do not complain that you need to keep noice down and no alcohol allowed... it was still incredibly fun and nice atmosphere and I’ve met great people there. I very much appreciate the incredibly nice people working there, and how hard they work to keep this place clean and safe in covid time. I recommend it 100% for everyone. Also the WiFi is super stable and fast so perfect place to do some online work

Nice quiet hostel, very clean, friendly staff, stayed 7 nights. Good location not in crowded tourist zone but walkable to beach, ADO,(10-15 minutes). Supermarket 10 minutes other direction. Female dorm not crowded, plus 2 bathrooms. AC at night controlled by hostel which I liked so other people couldn't turn it off. Kitchen, fridge available.

This hostel is nice for a couple of days. It has a lot of rules on how to behave in the hostel, very strict, but at the same time quite. So don't expect just to lodge without finishing reading the rules. Overall, it is very clean the owner is taking care of it...
