The staff were generally friendly and helpful, especially members of the animation team and some of the bar and dining room staff. There were some who were not particularly friendly or helpful but appeared to be a little stressed, so not as attentive to guests. We were 'upgraded' to Royal Elite (but without the privileges) to a room that had a shower head that was mouldy and a stained and badly cracked bath. The shower head was eventually changed but we had to live with the cracked bath. The room itself was spacious and decorated with contemporary furnishings but the bathroom did not appear to be well maintained or cleaned appropriately, leading it to be worn and tired. Although the room was cleaned, it was not to a great standard. In other hotels I've been to, the metal fittings in the bathroom are shined after a room clean, but dirt and water marks were still visible in the bathroom after the room had been cleaned. I used the gym, which was pretty basic and had no air con - just the door left open (but no breeze!) One of the two treadmills was out of service. On a positive, the grounds were nice with some lovely plants dotted around. Also there was a range of food available at the main restaurant, not all to my tastes, but there was always something I could find to eat. I particularly liked the vegetable rostis and churros at breakfast! Although the snack bar at night had a very poor range of food (soup was tasteless) the crepes in the afternoon were lovely!

Lovely hotel and staff were all so helpful and friendly, just need to give a bit more advice on buses and marina and other stuff you can do outside of the hotel

The hotel is very big with lots of different entertainment options. The choice of food is excellent. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially Helga in reception. Our room was amazing and so clean. The beds were really comfortable.

The hotel was very big and lovely to explore. Lots of facilities like many pools, mini golf, games area, spa etc. Within the all inclusive range there was always some sort of food/drinks available all day. All staff such as Reception staff, house keepers and staff at the restaurants were all very helpful and kind. The chefs would help cater for my dietary requirements and would tell me what I could and couldn’t have. Free transport to go into the city centre which was lovely!

The hotel is perfectly located right next to the beach. You can climb up to the cliff for access to other nearby beaches. We opted for the all-inclusive package; however, the food was just okay and became repetitive every day, as it was mostly the same options. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was a plus. While the hotel itself is nice, it definitely needs some renovations. We also experienced some issues with the shower. Overall, it's a nice place but has the potential to be much better.

Lovely hotel outside of Playa Blanca. About a 20 minute walk along the promenade to the marina and a 50 minute walk to the Centre of Playa Blanca. Good selection of food in the buffet and excellent to have drinking water refilling facilities at the hotel. There’s a gorgeous walk along the cliffs beside the hotel to Playa de Papagayo.

Just back from 5 nights hotel was lovely food was fab loads of variety I recommend going on inclusive staff were great with the kids so much for all ages to do views were fabulous

We chose this hotel for location and for food - we saw reviews that said the food was decent for vegetarians. Every dinner they had a small section with vegan food, which was great! As vegetarians we were glad we got half board. Thanks for considering us vegheads
