Nice traditional log cabin, the ground floor is spacious and comfortable with a log burning stove. Hosts are friendly and can offer a hot meal (the food was delicious). Warm hospitality from genuine people.

Very cosy house with a nice view and not close to the street! It was cold outside but when we arrived the owner put on the fireplace. We could have diner at their place. It was a lot and very tasteful. We enjoyed the evening. Very nice and friendly people. Super host!

You won't regret staying at Isov Ranch if you want an authentic experience and a feeling of home and family. I was the only guest the night I stayed there. I was doing the Balkan Peaks trekking route. When I arrived I had a small paper message welcoming at the door. And when I entered and met the owner there was another lady I saw during the hike that day, but she was not staying there. We had some tea, and when she left I tried to say some Montenegrian words I had noted down, and we started an exchange of our languages, which was nice. Dinner was at his family house, nearby, and when I went out for it I noticed the most beautiful night sky full of stars. Don't miss out on that. Dinner was delicious and I felt really welcomed, we laughed a lot together. During the night I felt a bit sick, probably from something I had on Doberdol or for eating too much that night, and in the morning I was still not 100%. They cooked a traditional and delicious breakfast that I was sad I couldn't eat properly, but I took some as packed lunch for the hike. They let me rest for a while on their sofa to get better and gave me tea. They weren't sure I should hike that day and suggested I stay one more night, but I felt better so I decided to go, even though I felt sad for leaving them. Maybe we will see each other again if I come back to Montenegro. Thank you for everything 💛 Hugs, Cris

Beautiful stay in a little cabin in the woods all to yourself. The host family live 250m away. The cabin consists of 2 levels, the bottom with 2 beds, a wood fired stove, kettle for tea, power for charging. The bathroom is by the front door. Upstairs consists of a small room with 2 more beds. The interior is lovely, beautiful rugs on the floor and lovely tapestries all over the wall. You enjoy breakfast and dinner inside the families home, they are truly lovely people.

Utterly brilliant host and family, delicious food, entertainment and welcome. Such a homely cabin with awesome traditional decor. A wonderful place to stay near the end of our Peaks of the Balkans trek. Thank you!!!

I was looking for "kusturica" vibes on my 2 trips in Balcans and it was the first place I found it! 10 points for that. Opportunity to see authentic village life with animals marching in the yard, 3 "banditos" kids, lots of laughter and positive chaos. Without any messaging about the time of arrival the owner met me on the main road calling my name. After a quick checkin I was invited to a family house some 500 m away for some tea and watermelon. On a nice terrace we had dinner and breakfast there. The owner was very keen to communicate notwithstanding not perfect English. He and his wife were very friendly and showed great humor. I was staying on the second floor with a balcony. I spent a fun evening with other POB hikers staying on 1st floor, camping and some visiting our fireplace to watch falling stars. On arrival there was no electricity, because of some infrastructure repairs, but in the evening I got a solid hot shower on the first floor. No wifi at the place, first time in POB, but it seems it`s common in Babinjo pole. In desperate need, it seems owner can bring you to some relative`s house.

The property is right on the trail for the Peaks of the Balkans and around 20 minutes walking before the center of Babino Polje. I loved the aesthetic of the house, it is a beautiful cabin in the woods and the interior is lovingly decorated with crafts by the family. It has a small kitchen and fireplace and it feels very rustic, I loved it! The best part of the experience are the hosts Jarved and his wife, they are incredibly friendly and she is a very talented cook who will feed you so well! I would have seconds at each meal! They are such accomodating and helpful people, I highly recommend Isov Ranch for the location, house and just to meet this lovely family!

One of the most memorable stays on the peaks of the Balkans hike. Authentic log cabin as you would expect in the woods, a little run down but still had everything you need after a day of hiking. Very hospitable and friendly owners with delicious authentic village food. A very fun experience 😊
