Gago was a wonderful host. The rooms were warm, we were able to dry our wet things in the loungeroom and the food potions were great hiking portions

Gago, Yasmina and their family built a little paradise right on the Peak of the Balkans trail! They are so welcoming and helpful and answer all your questions. The food was great as well! It is hard to leave. Thank you so much!

I had the pleasure of staying at Gagos wooden house for one night while walking Peaks of the Balkans. Jasmina cooked amazing food and made homemade lemonade, Gago drove me to a place with cell reception, and the grandparents played with the children on the grass. It felt like I was a part of their wonderful family for one day. Don't miss out!

Gago's Wooden House and our hosts were fantastic. The home is conveniently located on the Peaks of the Balkans trail and is the perfect place to rest after a day's hiking. You will stay on a floor reserved just for the guests and all the guests will eat a lovely home-cooked meal together - this is a fantastic way to meet other hikers and socialise with our host. The shower is powerful and very hot! The hosts make you feel very comfortable and at home. They helped the guests to dry their boots after the rainy day and we exchanged friendly conversation. If you are looking for an authentic experience then this is a great option. We were lucky enough to stay in the bedroom with the big window overlooking the hills - beautiful. Unfortunately, my brother fell ill during the night and the hosts were gracious enough to let us rest during the day and then gave us a lift to Plav.

The host and family were so kind and attentive. The food was delicious, we found everything to be great value and we had a great time during our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The home is very well located for those doing the Peaks of the Balkans, it is very near the start of the trail for the Babino Polje to Plav stage

Wonderful place to stay! Super delicious cusine and the most friendly hosts you can imagine. Also the housewine was the best we’ve had on Peaks og the Balkans trail. A heaven for every hiker.

The house is conveniently located relative to most hiking routes. We rented a room for 5 nights and went hiking every day and appreciated the convenience of the location. The place is very quiet, right next to the forest. The house itself is very cozy, the shower is clean, you can use the kitchen, there is an electric kettle. The owners are very nice and hospitable people. You can order delicious homemade food. GSM and Internet do not work in the house. You can climb the nearest hill to get the connection, or catch it while hiking. For us this was not a minus, but on the contrary it turned out to be an excellent internet detox, but it may be important for someone. We will definitely come again!
