The host, Effi, is a charming lady. She met us and showed us everything. The service is very flexible. You can ask anything you need. We also ordered breakfast at the property and enjoyed our meal in the beautiful garden. The territory is very lovely and comfortable. The rooms are clean. The furniture is in good condition and has comfortable beds.

We spent 7 amazing days in Effi Apartments, the apartment is very nice and cozy, there is a beautiful garden with a sea view. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. I definitely recommend this place

The owner herself was lovely and welcoming. Very genuine. The apartment complex was beautifully maintainef. Our room itself. The aircon. The very comfortable large bed. The bathroom shower! . The terrace and seating area. The kitchenette was perfect. The quiet neighbourhood. Local people were very friendly.

This place is like a little oasis with its lovely style, comfortable rooms&balcony, and a gorgeous garden with trees, sunshades, and loungers overlooking the sandy beach. It is super close to the town center, packed with shops and restaurants that stay open very late. Effi was awesome from the moment we arrived. She was there to greet us and had many great suggestions for activities and beaches we’d love. You could always reach her either online or in person, which was super convenient. We had great chats about tennis too…:) When the apartment parking was full, she got us a spot in an underground garage just a 5-mins walk away. On our last night, she hosted a bbq with Greek food and wine for everyone. While we did check out other beaches in Crete, honestly, just hanging out at the apartments and in Platanias would have made for a perfect getaway all by itself. It’s definitely a place worth coming back to! Plus, the kids adored the friendly cats that hang around nearby.

Paradise location, the most friendly and accommodating host and spotlessly clean. We could not have asked for a better stay than Effi Apartments. Everything was perfect, and our favourite spot in the garden shade area overlooking the beach was the most relaxing and tranquil place to enjoy.

First of all I want to say that Effi the owner is one of those hosts that if you came here and you were to return at her apartments again, you would want to bring her a gift from your country. I know I wish I did. She's amazing and genuine. It was easy to find with GPS, and there are 3 parking spots inside the apartments area, you just open and close the gates yourself. We booked the Sea View apartment right next to the beach. The bedroom is a bit on the small side, with comfortable bed and places so you can leave your stuff .The bathroom is very comfortable size wise with hot water and good pressure. There are kitchen accessories available like plates, toaster, fridge etc. The third person slept on the lounge area which was the only air condition we had, and this was the only disadvantage for me. I would want air-condition in both rooms. In general you are a few steps from the beach, there is a nice Veranda with very comfortable sofas where you can rest, have food or read your book, there is a mini market nearby, and many places to eat nearby. Very very relaxing place to stay, I would definitely stay there again if I had control of their air-condition.
