Even though we chose the room with a garden view, I really appreciated the terrace with a sea view where we could have breakfast. I also liked that the accommodation is close to the sea and beach, which wasn’t crowded like other places. Dimitris is a very welcoming host. He provided us with details and a list on WhatsApp of places to visit and recommended restaurants. He was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The room was cleaned regularly, and we received fresh towels every other day. If I take another vacation in Crete, I will definitely choose this accommodation again. ❤️

Location was fantastic. On the beach, close to all shops including supermarkets and bus stop. Service from staff, fantastic. Dimitris was amazing. I totally understand all the previous reviews. Nothing was too much trouble. Gave us recommendations, with full details how to get there etc. Everything he did was with a smile on his face and always willing to help.

The place had the perfect position. Right at the beach, close to the supermarkets, souvenir shops and plenty of rental places. But the best thing about this place is the guy owning it, Dimitris! He was super helpful. The first day we woke up he had already sent me a message with different things to do, such as beaches to visit and restaurants to eat at. Hidden gems and big tourist places. He even helped us rent a car and get a much better price then the rest in the area! 10/10

This accomodation is an amazing place to stay if you are staying around Chania. I did a solo trip for 6 nights and I am amazed at how good the value of my stay was for what I was given. The house is steps away from a beach with beautiful sights surrounding the area (next to other hotels but it did not get busy at all) and the views during sunset/sunrise are just breathtaking. Platanias is just 20 minutes away by bus from Chania centre so it was very easy access and you have a lot of restaurants and shops around if you don't want to displace yourself a lot from the accomodation. The room was very clean with a walk in shower with different heads, and a nice balcony you can sit and relax and see other people walking by. - The highlight of the trip was Dimitri and how attentive he was towards everything I needed, he picked me up and walked me to the room the first day I was lost and the same night he gave me a list of suggestions in an itinerary that matched my stay. He also was very active and was always around willing to ask you questions or just have a chat! Overall it felt like a very safe and warm experience and I really felt like I had a home for a few days. The restaurants around the area are also super great especially one in front of the beach called The Olive Tree which I went to twice.
