We would certainly go back. The accommodation, staff, pool and breakfast were all great. The location is fabulous with no noise at all from outside the hotel but 3 good restaurants and a cocktail bar within 2 minutes walk. The nicer 'award winning' beach is a 10 minute stroll rather than the harbour which is 100m, but there is a lovely boardwalk and footpath to use.

Whole hotel recently very nicely refurbished, like new. Beautiful swimming pool and gardens. Good location, off the Main Street but close to restaurants and amenities yet only 200 m from the waters edge. Good breakfast with the full spread.

It was a lovely calm accommodation, great for couples. Luckily, few to no children. The room was spacious enough for 2, good planned bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The pool was fantastic, plenty of sunbeds by the pool and on the grass. The breakfast was delicious, fresh and in abundance. The rooms were cleaned everyday.

The new renovation’s at Apollo are lovely. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean, everything you need is to hand. The pool has been levelled out to make it easier for people who find it difficult to swim to also enjoy. It is also nice that the pool bar is open later so you can grab a drink before or after dinner. The breakfasts are great, there are lots of variety and the staff work very hard to replenish the food and keep the area clean and tidy. The family who run the apartments are very kind and accommodating.

We had an amazing time at Hotel Apollo Plakias. The room was really comfortable and clean. Stratos was really friendly, he gave us a lot of tips and restaurants references, also prepared to us a very nice Mojito when we joined him in the bar. I really recommend this Hotel to have a good time in Plakias.

Excellent family driven hotel. Very friendly staff, already from the time of booking we called the hotel with questions and were greeted with helful and friendly answers. Very close to beach, restaurant and main street, but still in a quiet location. Great pool and breakfast. The town is in a beautiful area of south Crete, but less touristic than many other areas on the island. Highly recommended.
