1st time in Naxos & feel truly blessed we booked Sunshine Plaka, beautiful room, furnished to a high standard , clean and extremely well presented with panoramic sea view, few steps from the beach and you can walk for miles .. we loved the walk to Orkos beach. We managed without a car for the duration as enjoy walking to tavernas, different beaches. You could also catch the local bus (10 min walk) to Naxos town (the most beautiful Greek town) or get off en route at Agia Anna or Agia Prokopios if you want to explore other beaches, towns. 2 euros each way! What made our stay even more perfect was the owners, they could not do enough to help you. Stella arranged for her husband to collect us from the port and took us back again! Exceptional service .. a homemade cake was waiting for us an arrival too! Stella’s daughter Katerina was so helpful and even made sure we stopped at the supermarket en route from the port to pick up essentials! Naxos now holds a special place in our hearts and we absolutely want to return and will not hesitate to return to Sunshine Plaka. It was a perfect room & location for us .. thank you again 🫶

The room was perfect. Especially the owner, Stella and her daughter Katerina were very friendly and helpful. Stella baked a cake for us and prepared fruits at our arrival; it was lovely. The beach is 4 minutes walking distance. For the restaurants and supermarket you have to walk 15-20 minutes, which is ok. Thank you Stella and Katerine.

Here's an improved version of the paragraph: Our stay at Sunshine Plaka was outstanding. It's a family-owned hotel, and that personal touch is evident in the best possible way. They went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional – they picked us up from the port, the room had a homemade cake waiting for us, and they thoroughly explained the island's attractions and transportation options. It was clear they genuinely cared about ensuring we had a wonderful time. The facilities are relatively new (just 3 years old) and the finishes are of high quality. While the hotel is a bit distant from the city center, we had no issues with getting around. Overall, we highly recommend Sunshine Plaka to anyone visiting Naxos. Stella, her husband, and their daughter really made us feel at home during our stay, and we would absolutely return in the future.

We loved our stay here. Stella was so kind and accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The welcome fruit and delicious cake was very thoughtful. The studio was very well thought out and felt spacious for the three of us. It is also beautifully decorated. We loved our balcony and enjoyed breakfasts and a pre sunset drink there daily. The apartments are in a great location if you are looking for peace, beach nature and do not want to be too entrenched in the tourism of Plaka, but would like access to the delicious tavernas. We had a car which I think was necessary for enjoying all of Naxos.
