Lovely room but bed a little soft for my liking but that's just my personal preference. Had dinner in the evening very good wine was a little expensive but very good. Breakfast was excellent but had to wait quite a long time for the cooked element of it but it was brought almost immediately when I asked the extremely polite and helpful waitress. Spa is very nice and outdoor hot tub was lovely. All the staff were very polite friendly and helpful.

A beautiful building with friendly, helpful staff and good food. The rooms are a bit characterless for being in a castle and there is a hidden 12.5% service charge on all meals, coffees in the lounge etc which you find when you checkout.

Hotel is in amazing location , food was good, breakfast wasn’t great and service at breakfast not great , castle super room shouldn’t have windows that move and create noise from poor quality

Great location, well maintained grounds, room and facilities excellent, staff very friendly. Bar and restaurant very quiet, no atmosphere. Spa, broken showers, lukewarm hot tubs, pool area dirty with people coming in and out, drinking water scarce. Over all very nice but spa facilities let’s it down.

Breakfast / Dinner - The food at Fonab Castle was excellent, and the dining / bar facilities very tasteful. Spa - The spa facilities at Fonab castle are also a great benefit to staying at the hotel.

Beautiful location and the staff and food exceptional - Mark the concierge, Marisa(?) in the restaurant - amazing personnel and very considerate and good humoured. Grounds are beautiful .
