Located on the Faliro coast, 3.5 km from the port of Piraeus and 7.5 km from the centre of Athens, the family-owned Platon Hotel offers a modern alternative to city centre accommodation.
There are excellent transport links in the surrounding area, as the buses and trams to Athens and the Attica beaches run directly outside the hotel.
The metro is 5 minutes away and takes you to the centre of Athens in 15 minutes. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Peace and Friendship Stadium, and the Olympic Beach Volleyball Centre and the O.L.P. Exhibition Centre can be easily reached by the local public transport.

“Perfect location for staying in Athens”

First a warm welcome by Jamel at reception who kindly let me have an early check in - without me even asking. My room was functional & clean . The location was very good with a bus stop across the road. Airport bus stops within 5 min walk. The other reception staff Theodora and Theodore were super friendly and couldn’t be more helpful . Restaurants nearby , the port with day excursions. All very safe.

Location to where my event was. The shower was excellent. The balcony, the sitting there sipping a cold beer after midnight was very nice. Close to the trams, so short walk.

Very friendly welcome. Felt at home. Breakfast was amazing. Perfect location for us because we were catching a ferry the next day. We rebooked for our return home connection.Clean room, elevator which was perfect for us both. Thank you we had a wonderful stay.

Clean room, friendly staff, easy & cheap to get by Express bus (to / from airport - bus «X96»). At to the location, depend on the purpose of trip. Food markets / small cafe within 7 min walk.

The room is very small and does not have a closet for clothes, but rather shelves. It does not have any facilities other than a TV screen and air conditioning. The bathroom is very small and of course it does not overlook the sea viwe but overlooks the street, contrary to what was described in the room’s description upon booking.

Shower stall a little too small. Noise was not intrusive, room was clean, and beds were fine. Linens and towels were great and plenty. The court yard is a lovely place to have coffee, read or surf the net. Bring your own coffee.
