We recently had the pleasure of staying at Houseboats by DAE - Colombo last week, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! We are Elizabeth and George, and this was one of the most unique and relaxing getaways we've ever had. From the moment we stepped onto the houseboat, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a sense of calm that only the serene waters of Bolgoda Lake can provide. The ambiance was perfect – a blend of luxury and tranquility, with beautifully designed interiors that made us feel right at home. The views from the houseboat were absolutely breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. We spent our mornings sipping coffee on the deck, surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature, and our evenings were equally magical, enjoying a delicious dinner under the stars. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. We also loved the activities offered – from exploring the mangroves to simply unwinding in the cozy lounge area. If you're looking for a unique escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, we highly recommend Houseboats by DAE. Staying at Houseboats by DAE - Colombo was an unforgettable experience for both of us. The serene setting of Bolgoda Lake, paired with the elegance of the houseboat, made it the perfect getaway. The houseboat was the epitome of floating luxury, with beautifully designed interiors that were both modern and inviting. The room was spacious and offered panoramic views of the tranquil lake, creating a calming ambiance that we absolutely loved. Mornings were a delight as we enjoyed coffee on the deck, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The sunsets were magical, painting the sky in shades of orange and pink, followed by a romantic dinner under the stars. The team at Houseboats by DAE made our stay truly exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and ensured that everything was perfect, from the delicious meals to the personalized service. This unique floating retreat offered us the ideal blend of relaxation, luxury, and adventure. My family and I, a group of seven from Canada, recently had the pleasure of staying at Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. The houseboat we stayed on offered the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully designed, making our stay incredibly relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. Every meal was a culinary delight, with dishes that catered perfectly to our taste buds. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and flavor of the food consistently impressed us. During our stay, we enjoyed two cruises each day through the picturesque Bolgoda waterways. The early morning cruise was particularly breathtaking as we were greeted by the serene beauty of nature waking up. We spotted numerous birds and even got a glimpse of the stunning sunrise. The sunset cruise, on the other hand, provided a different yet equally mesmerizing experience as we sailed through the calm waters with the sky painted in shades of orange and pink. The entire experience was beyond our expectations, and if given the chance, we would gladly stay here 100 times over. Houseboats by DAE in Bolgoda is a gem, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and unforgettable stay
