The concierge Shawn was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The house is decked out beautifully for the holidays, and we appreciated all of the touches in the room such as the welcome snacks and beverages. The included breakfast is light (croissants and juice), but based on the off season pricing we were more than happy to check out the local restaurants for something more substantial.

it's a beautiful century home completely restored with modern comfortable HVAC systems and plumbing. including updated showers. the owners provide a winery passport that included free flights and samples at numerous winery's. in the room two alcohol coolers, perrier, cookies, apples and nespresso all included. really special.

It's not a hotel. Its much more. A twist of Royalty. Cozy. Romantic. Warm. Modern too. Quality stuff. Apt for any Special occasion. Everything you can think of is in the room which you will not find in a 5 or 7 star. Never been to a bathing/Shower room where the control knob is opposite to the overhead or handheld shower. Awesome 👌 the details of every wall/ceiling in the Chateau must be viewed. Congrats to the creative designer, too. Spent 2 awesome nights. From a wonderful Sean, Concierge you feel like more than a guest. Walking distance to main street restaurants.

A great little place to stop over on our journey through East Coast Canada. The suggestion that we get the ferry over towards the thousand islands and grab a bot trip was superb. Thank you!!

Merrill House is very well-located, right near the main street with its shops and restaurants. The inn has lots of character and is well-maintained and very clean. The grounds are large with nice trees. The sheets and towels are good quality, and housekeeping was excellent. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful, but it was not always easy to track them down. The restaurant has nice ambiance and the food was quite good--though expensive. The sauna was enjoyable, though limited to one 1-hour use per stay. Appreciated being able to store our bikes in a locked shed.

The individuality of this beautifully decorated hotel. Every room different and so stylish. Beautiful soap/cleansing products in bathroom smelled divine. Complimentary freshly baked croissants and orange juice at breakfast very appreciated.

As we had only the fresh croissants and coffee, we cannot rate the breakfast. But judging from the quality of the dinners it must be excellent. Sean Bruno went above and beyond the call of duty to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our grateful thanks to him!

The staff were extremely attentive (Sean was great). The location was very central to downtown Picton. Ambiance was very funky
