The fine print

Everything was great apart from we went for a shower 9pm and after a few minutes the hot water ran out and there wasn't anymore. Had to have a cold shower was not impressed as everything else was lovely the staff and the food. Bed was really comfortable. We should have been advised that the immersion heater was turned off in the evening when we checked in.

Excellent food and friendly staff in great location, beer exceptional, just a brilliant old Fashioned inn, very popular. If you like food and good beer this is the ideal inn, don't forget the brewery tour.

The food was brilliant as we're the staff the cottage was OK but could do with some tlc especially the shower but many thanks to all staff for making our stay a good one

The breakfast was excellent, served by polite and efficient staff Dinner was ok, the restaurant had run out of the food we ordered and we weren't refunded the difference we had already paid when we reordered The room was clean and comfortable but the access was difficult up some steep stairs

The New Inn was lovely. The staff were excellent, breakfast was tasty and the bedrooms were warm and comfy. I'd also recommend buying one of their ales gift packs. Unfortunately, the plumbing wasn't great for hot water. I gave up as the noise from the pipes was awful and I still didn't have any hot water coming out. But that was my only complaint.

The location was picturesque in a small village. The room was lovely and spacious. Everything you required with plenty of tea, coffee and milk plus added bonus of biscuits. Was a lovely quiet location, so a great nights sleep. The pub was full of history and also do their own brewery tours at a reasonable cost, although we didn't have time to do this. We ate in the pub at night, food was tasty and cooked to perfection, a good menu with not too many choices. Breakfast was lovely local produce too.

We had a lovely stay with excellent food and very helpful friendly staff.The room we had was a deluxe double which was brilliant as we had safe secure outdoor space for our little dogs.
