I prefer staying in home stays because they feel more authentic, I loved the rustic feel of my bamboo house, and the simple lifestyle, being able to spend time with Saro and his family out in the country was such a lovely experience

I highly recommend this accommodation and this family! The location is perfect, close to the main attractions in Battambang. The hospitality is exceptional—the family is always available to help with pickups, activities, and advice. You can also eat on-site, and the meals prepared by the family are delicious, with great value for money. I chose to sleep in a tent and had a great night’s sleep, thanks to the fan and light inside. The showers and toilets are clean and fully functional. Honestly, staying in a hotel or hostel in the city center doesn’t offer the same enriching experience. Staying with a local family allows for full immersion, and I absolutely loved my two days here. For solo travelers, it’s also a great opportunity to meet other guests, share meals, and enjoy activities together. A huge thank you for this unforgettable experience!

We loved our stay at Esaro's and his company! So authentic, so beautiful and relax days! This is not a typical stay at a hotel so people decided to stay there they should do their research! For us was just one of the best days in Cambodia! We learned a lot and we saw things that if we had stayed at the city we would not! We so much appreciate this! We also arranged a nice tour with him too and we got a very insight of the region! I wish Esaro good luck and I hope to meet him again!

I came late due to problems with bus and still wanted to see bats and sunset. The owner kindly drove me to the top of nearby mountain so i had the chance to do that!! Awesome experience and im very grateful to the owner! The stay itself was also very nice. It is very peaceful place and nice contrast to City. Also many farm animals walking around. Dinner and breakfast was very good!

This was a very good homestay. When we first arrived I wasn't quite sure how things would pan out, e.g. we hadn't eaten when we got there and it was away from the town. However the solution was just to ask - they cooked us a meal for lunch and also an evening meal and breakfast. It was all really nice and very reasonably priced. We also walked up to the the shrine and then to the bat cave ourselves (they offered transport, but it wasn't really necessary). The bats were coming out of the cave quite late (almost after dark), but we did have quite a laugh in the local cafes waiting for them, and did see them exit. I also had a really good night sleep. I was in the family room rather than the tents.

The family were welcoming and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. It felt like a very authentic Cambodian experience at the homestay. The dinner and breakfast were delicious. The bungalow was rustic but completely fit for purpose and very clean. Shower and toilet facilities were basic but completely functional. As a female solo traveller, I felt safe and looked after. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

The location is great for the Batcave (5-10 min walk). The raised Cambodian cabin-style room was very spacious simple and comfortable. The view across the fields in the morning and the family were great! 👍
