Barcelo Coconut Island Phuket is located on a private beach overlooking the stunning Phang Nga Bay. Just a 5-minute ride on the hotel’s boat service from Phuket Town, Barcelo Coconut Island Phuket offers a beach getaway from the hustle and bustle of the mainland.

Beautiful resort, our villa with pool was well equipped and comfortable. Perfect for families. The hotel facilities and activities to offer are great. The use of the application makes it very easy to book services during your stay. The boat transfer service was very useful and operated regularly, so we were able to visit mainland without issues. Breakfast was very good, good selection available.

We liked everything! The view in the morning is a pool, palm trees, sea. We woke up happy. The food was for every taste, from every corner of the world and very tasty. The staff - the kindest people!!!

The rooms are beautiful. The buffet breakfast has many options and runs for a good period of time. It’s super convenient that they run the boat back into the mainland throughout the whole day. The pool/beach/bar area is lovely and a great spot to relax.

Lovely beach and pool area. The beach attendant was very good. The overall staff were very friendly and always had a smile and happy to help. Going to and from the island was a good booking system, reception need to remind people that they need a ticket.

We got a free upgrade to a private pool villa, which was unexpected but so fantastic. We overlooked the garden and it was idyllic. I liked the beachfront, the restaurants, the breakfast was extensive, and the staff were friendly.

We had a lovely stay overall at Barcelo Coconut Island over the New Year’s. The pool villa was beautiful and tranquil, and my 4 year old had a blast playing on the resort beach and in the kids club. Staff were super busy because it was peak season, but they tried their best when rendering service.

Please read my review thoroughly! Tips ahead. Here is the refined text: "Our Grand Villa Experience at [Resort Name]" "We recently stayed in the Grand Villa and were absolutely blown away by its beauty and spaciousness. The linens were pristine, and the modern bathroom was immaculate. However, some renovation is needed to address the aging wood, which has a rustic feel." "Breakfast was excellent, and the resort itself is stunning with its lush tropical greenery. It's important to note that this isn't a typical kids' resort, though they do have a kids' club, which was underutilized during our stay." "Prior to our arrival, I wish I had been aware of the following: Limited Island Amenities: The island is very small with no supermarkets or shops beyond the resort's boutique, which primarily sells expensive clothing. This necessitates dining on-site, where food quality is inconsistent and prices are significantly higher than expected (roughly double what we'd anticipate in Thailand). Additionally, the resort adds a 17% surcharge to all purchases. The main restaurant's food was disappointing. The Italian restaurant was enjoyable but pricey. Room service, however, offered delicious options. I highly recommend grabbing groceries before arriving on the island. There's a local spot a short distance from the shore with a lovely bar and delicious, reasonably priced local cuisine. Do not get a heart attack while you're staying at the resort! The lack of on-site medical assistance is a serious concern. Our 10-year-old daughter experienced a severe allergic reaction (unprecedented for her), and the resort informed us that the doctor would arrive at 5 PM. Given the urgency of the situation, we were forced to take a boat (which departed 5 minutes early despite our notification) to the mainland and rush her to the emergency room.

The resort is very beautiful and the staff were amazing - always helpful. We enjoyed the peace and quite. Our room was wonderful with gorgeous sea view. Pool was great too! Breakfast was alright.
