“A calm peaceful guesthouse just over the river from the island”

The Old Palace is very quaint and peaceful and exceptional value for money. It is around 35minutes walk away from the market and Soi 2 so hire a bike or get Reception to order you Pop's tuktuk or a taxi. Don't forget to tell your driver you want him to come back otherwise it is a long walk home through dark streets. The staff at the Old Palace are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for them. Also the 100 baht breakfast and free tea and coffee and daily water is great Highly recommended

Quiet location just to the north of the old city. The room was simple but adequate. Location is fine and ideal if you have your own transport. No issues getting a taxi into town in the evenings.

I absolutely loved the location as it so close to allthe temples are in walking distance. The staff were wonderful very helpful setting up my trips. Very clean and quiet which for me again was prefect. I’d definitely recommend

Nice size room, shower and bathroom also a nice size and clean. The beds were comfy and the fridge meant we could stay refreshed with cold drinks. We were given bottles of water and extra toilet roll every day during the stay. Air conditioning worked great.
