Staff were really lovely and put themselves out including accommodating my very late check in. Property is a very large wooden bungalow with great air conditioning and very clean. I loved it. Located right by the ancient monuments

Perfect for a quick stay in Ayutthaya for the Unesco World Heritage Fair and a visit to the temples. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful and our bungalows comfy, secure and peaceful.

The location is absolutely awesome. We arrived at night from Bangkok and the neighborhood looked a bit sketchy. But the cabins are just a treat and the staff super friendly. We ended up going out that night for a little walk to the night market, took pictures of the Wat all lit up at night. It was just magical. Didn't feel unsafe at all. The next morning we woke up to 2 bottles of water and a fresh, unpeeled, piece of fruit on each balcony. The kids loved the fresh fruit, especially the day she brought Dragon fruit. We were a family of 6 (3 kids and Grandma). We got adjacent rooms and each took one kid, as their cabins are all double beds. I especially loved the liberty to just walk 2 blocks and be in the middle of the ruins. Grandma got tired and hot, so no problem. 2 blocks and she's back in the air-conditioning. The Western breakfast was also a nice touch. If you want something a little more familiar, they have a bacon and eggs style breakfast. Grandma and the kids enjoyed it. I went to one of the local Thai places a block away. I was looking for a more authentic experience for the kids. Something not like a cookie cutter hotel room in Bangkok. This was exactly what I got. And the Thai family that takes care of it we're super nice!

The Baan Kong Bungalows were very nice equipped and so near to the ancient temples! We could reach everything by foot or tuktuk so that made the Baan Kong the perfect location for our short stay.

Great chalet, nice and peaceful and private in a great location and the owner goes out of her way to help. Bicycle or scooter hire, reasonably priced, as was the beer with free water and fruit every day! Would definitely recommend.

The room style is very authentic. The staffs serve fruit every morning which is very good. The location is super near the travel spot - Wat Maha That.
